Tallinn is the capital of Estonia, which has a population of 1.3 million. Tallinn is the best-preserved medieval town in Northern Europe. Its Old Town is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. You can easily travel between Helsinki and Tallinn by ferries.

Day 1 | Arrival in Helsinki
Flight/cruise on own arrangements.
Transportation from the airport to Helsinki railway station by public train. Trains operate between Helsinki Airport and the city center every 10-15 minutes. Duration appr. 30 minutes. Short walk to your hotel Scandic Grand Central Helsinki or similar, check-in the hotel.
Day 2 | Helsinki city tour & Sauna experience (B)
Private guided Helsinki City tour, 3h.
Explore the most significant and beautiful parts of Helsinki on walking tour. Your professional guide will give you entertaining and informative insights into Helsinki’s impressive sights and culture. Learn about the local history and visit must-see landmarks like Senate Square and the beautiful Cathedral. The tour will cover topics such as the Finnish history and language, the architectural styles of Helsinki, the local lifestyle and the traditional cuisine. You will see the hidden areas and be kept mostly out of the beaten path.
In the afternoon/evening Löyly sauna experience 2h
Löyly is a public sauna and restaurant complex in Hernesaari district on the southern tip of Helsinki. The complex includes a traditional Finnish smoke sauna and two other wood-heated saunas, a year-round terrace and a restaurant. The saunas offer direct access to the outdoor seating area and the sea, where it is possible to enjoy a refreshing swim, all year round. There are separate changing rooms and shower facilities for men and women but as the saunas and other public areas are mixed, it means that customers are respectfully asked to always wear swimming costumes. Sauna is not Private. Included 2-hours sauna, towel, peflet, shampoo and shower soap and private return transfers from/to hotel.

A day cruise from Helsinki to Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, is a popular way to do a day trip from Helsinki. It will take just 2 hours by ferry to get to Tallinn. On the ferry you will have a lot of travelling time for discover several restaurants, cafeterias & bars and shopping onboard.

13:30 Guided Walking Tour on Fortress Maritime Suomenlinna
The guided walking tour takes you around the fortress islands and lively through the centu-ries, presenting the main sights and the key events in the history of the fortress, offering in-teresting perspectives on the Finnish history and history of Northern Europe. Suomenlinna is one of Finland’s most popular sights. Every year it attracts more than 700,000 visitors. In 1991, Suomenlinna was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Covering an area of 210 ha and consisting of 6 islands and 200 buildings, Suomenlinna has amazing nature and viewpoints like tunnels and submarine. You can also visit museums, cafés & restaurants upon request. The tour starts from the Suomenlinna Museum (close to the pier) at 13:30.
