Day 1 | Arrival Finland (D)

Flight/cruise on own arrangements.
Private transfer with your guide or live like a local by public train from the airport to Helsinki railway station. Trains operate between Helsinki Airport and the city center every 10-15 minutes. Duration appr. 30 minutes. Short walk to your hotel Scandic Grand Central Helsinki or similar, check-in the hotel.

Guided walking tour in the Helsinki city center helps to oriented and find everything is needed in a short stay. Dinner at the hotel or in local restaurant.

Day 2 | Half day Porvoo (B/L)

Breakfast at the hotel. Guided tour to Porvoo Old Town, one of Finland’s oldest towns, just half hour drive from Helsinki. Tour will be walking wander through cobblestone streets, wooden pastel houses ans small courtyards decorated with lights and candles. Artisan shops sells handmade decorations, Finnish wool product and local delicacies. Stop at Brunberg chocolate shop is the must. Medieval stone church in the heart of Old Town hosts Christmas concerts or just a quiet moments for reflection. Iconic red shore houses by the Porvoo river is the great photo spot in winter light. Lunch will be at the local restaurant before returning back to Helsinki. Duration 3-4h. Overnight in Helsinki.

Day 3 | Day Cruise to Tallinn Christmas Markets (B/L)

Breakfast at the hotel. The festive day starts with morning departure with a scenic ferry cruise across the Baltic Sea, duration ~2 hours one way. Ships are comfortable with cafés, restaurants and duty-free shopping possibilities. From the port of Tallinn, it’s a short walk 15-20 min or quick transfer to Tallinn’s Old Town (UNESCO World Heritage site). City has turned to medieval winter wonderland with cobbled streets lined with lights, historic towers and walls and warm glow from lanterns and shop windows. Town Hall Square Christmas markets with live performances, music and festive atmosphere. Clime up to Toompea Hill for panoramic views and visit Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. Traditional Estonian meal will be enjoyed in a medieval-style restaurant. Free time to explore small boutiques before returning back to the port for early evening ferry back to Helsinki. Duration 10-12 hours, depends on ferry schedules.
