Day 1 | Arrival Rovaniemi (D)

Welcome to Rovaniemi – the capital of Finnish Lapland! Transfer to your hotel. Arctic City Hotel, located in the city (or similar hotel in centrum). Welcome dinner at the hotel.

Day 2 | Snowmobile, husky farms & reindeers (B/D)

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. Start your snowmobile engines. Explore the frozen wilderness of Lapland on a snowmobile safari! The thrilling snowmobiling tour takes you to beautiful snowy sceneries, across frosty forests and frozen lakes.  Snowmobile tour is on daytime. Lunch included. Dinner will be served at the hotel. Evening dinner at the Nili, Lappish restaurant. Exotic restaurant offers excitement and open your senses to pure tastes of Lapland as our menus are made on spot from local ingredients.

Day 3 | Icebreaker tour (B/L/D)

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Sampo Icebreaker to Kemi. (approx. 125 km, 1,5-2h/one way) Sea Lapland is one of the few extraordinary places where the sea completely freezes over in the winter. Enjoy an unforgettable sea, snow and ice adventure on a cruise over the frozen Gulf of Bothnia. Let the magical moments in arctic nature blow you away. Feel the arctic freedom on the deck or relax in the warm indoors sipping hot beverages in Icebreaker Bar. Before returning to the port, the ship will make a one-hour stop to enable each visitor to participate in the ice floating event, comfortably dressed in survival suits. The crew gives a presentation of the ship, you can wander around the vessel and get to know all the nooks and crannies all the way from the captain’s bridge to the engine rooms. The cruise includes ice floating experience, walking on ice, guided tour around the vessel, diploma, welcome drink, lunch or brunch buffet on board and entrance to the Snow exhibition room. Transfer back to Rovaniemi after tours. Total duration appr.8 hours. Dinner in hotel.

Day 4 | Snowmobile safari to Snowhotel and Auroras (B/L/D)

Breakfast at the hotel. The Arctic SnowHotel is located on the shore of a beautiful lake Lehtojärvi, and a great addition to the snow building in Lapland. During the snowmobile ride to the snow hotel, we will drive through silent Lappish forests and across frozen swamps, lakes, and rivers. Upon arrival to the venue, we will gather to enjoy a 2-course lunch. The wooden ‘kota’ is a very cosy place with an open fire in the middle, perfect lunch place after a snowmobile safari. After the lunch enjoy a tour around this kingdom of snow and ice and learn about the construction of the icy masterpiece. We snowmobile back to the city along the same routes and hope the journey leaves you with memorable impressions. Includes: Includes: Winter clothing, snowmobile instructions and safari 1-2 person/snowmobile, driving time approx. 3-3,5 hours, guided tour in the Arctic SnowHotel, 2-course lunch in Kota. Note: Special diets to be informed during booking. Duration 6-7h. Driving 1-2 pax/snowmobile.

In the late evening Aurora with marshmallow grilling. We take you by car to the nearby wilderness where we will have the best view on the sky. During the evening you will learn aboutthe arctic nature and enjoy stories about the culture and history of the local people. You will have a chance to try snowshoes around the fireplace. We will also have a break to enjoy some hot beverages, and we get to grill some marshmallow on the campfire. At the end of our excursion, we return to the city by bus – hopefully with rested and relaxed minds. Even if we can’t guarantee the Northern Lights, this program is excellent for people who wish to enjoy the great outdoor polar night. Includes: Private return transfers, guiding, winter overalls, hot drink with marshmallow grilling around fire, few pairs of snowshoes for customers to try. Farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 5 | Departure (B/L)

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the Rovaniemi airport. It’s time to say goodbye to Lapland.
